Nike Roshe Run

The Hype on running sneakers this year has been ridiculous. As soon as shoes such as the free run 2+ models or Hurache run model have hit the shelves in Nike retailers they usually sell out immediately. I think half the reason this is happening is because sneaker heads want something more comfortable than the stiffly made Air Jordan retros. Not only are these running shoes comfortable, they are also stylish and accent well with a nice pair of denim. These are everyday shoes, ones you have no issue with beating up or wearing with basically anything because you paid $70-$100 dollars on them. Now this year the Nike Roshe Run dropped at all Nike retailers and were very popular the minute they were discovered. The released originally in the black/anthracite color way as well as the sport red color way. The shoe is very simple and basic. It features an all mesh upper and a thick rubber bottom with a decent amount of grip and traction. The shoe gained so much popularity that re sellers in my city actually purchased all of the size runs and re sold the shoe for about $50 bucks above retail. The demand became very high on this Nike running model causing retailers to restock for the third time. I told myself I would not fall into the hype and buy a pair, but I eventually realized the shoe actual is comfortable and stylish besides the hype. I decided to buy two pairs on Nike's second restock date of the shoe.
